Police has the following advice:

Always park your car in guarded parking lot. Before going into a hotel or a holiday- house empty the car and the boot of your belongings. Do not leave skiing equipment, cameras, act in the car.

If you have taken with you any valuables, such as jewelry, gold or silver goods, always deposit them at the reception desk prior to going for a trip.

If you go to have tea or a meal a self-service restaurant on a skiing slope, do not leave your skiing equipment unguarded in front of it. It may " disappear".

Pick pocketing most often take place on Krupowki Street and in the market place at the foot of Gubalowka.

Please, take care of your children. You must not leave the youngest offspring's in front of shops. It happens that they get lost.

If you are traveling by train, hide your money well. Do not asleep, as you may wakeup with your luggage and money gone. And, as we have mentioned money:
Do not keep all of it in the same place!

Driving conditions are here much more difficult then elsewhere. But careful! Prior to edriving check your car's tires, lights and breakes.

PARKING FACILITIES

Guarded Parking lots are located in the front of the hotels: Kasprowy, Gazda and Sloneczny, on 3rd May Avenue, Niepodleglosci Square and the following streets: Br. Czecha, Sienkiewicza, Kasprusie, Zaruskiego, Jagiellonska, Nowotarska and Lukaszowki ( for motor coaches).

Streets by which you may park your care are: Tetmajera, Grunwaldzka, Kosciuszki, Pilsudskiego and others.
