Winter is just behind the corner! The winter season is coming soon! Everybody in Zakopane is getting ready to Christmas, New Year’s Eve and of course the most important winter event in Zakopane, competition in ski jumping, World Cup 2006.

Competitions in Ski Jumping in the season 200/2006 will take place on the 28th and 29th of January 2006. Participants trainings will take place on the Wielka Krokiew on 27th of January. The first competition will take place on the 28th of January at the artificial light. Morever, second competition on the 29th of January will start at 1.45 p.m. Tickets for the competitions as well as for the trainings, are available now in the Touristic Information Centre, at Kosciuszki Street 17 (Centrum Informacji Turystycznej, ul. Ko¶ciuszi 17), in Zakopane. The tickets are being sold for the sectors B and D.

The price of the tickets has not changed since last year and for the qualifications jumps it will be around 20 PLN / a ticket. Tickets’ price for the first and second day of World Cup in Ski Jumping is 60 PLN for a ticket in sector B, and 50 PLN for sector D.
