The main church in Zakopane is the neurmanesque church at ul. Krupowki 1. The Church is almost 100 years old. It ts the seat of the Holy Family Parish. The most precious part of the church is the Saint John the Baptist Chapel Which was designed by Stanislaw Witkiewicz, the founder of "Zakopiański Style" (style of Zakopane) in architecture. The oldest piece of religiousarchitecture is the Old Cementary chapel, which was founded in 1800 by Pawel Gasienica.
